One of the biggest advantages of the SC1 is Sportsman's Condo's famous one-piece construction. Unlike many hunting blinds that are assembled from multiple panels, the SC1's floor, walls, and roof are all molded together into a single piece. The high quality virgin HDPE material used in the Sportsman's Condo blinds is roughly 4x as thick as other similarly priced blinds!
That creates a stronger blind with fewer failure points while also reducing vibration and unwanted noise. The result is a blind that feels solid, hunts quietly, and stands up to years of weather exposure.
The window system is another area where the SC1 shines. Three oversized side windows and a door window provide excellent visibility in every direction. The windows fold completely out of the way during a shot, creating large shooting openings while maintaining a clean, uncluttered interior.

The SC1 features Sportsman's Condo's legendary Solid Blind Technology.
Instead of assembling separate wall panels, Sportsman's Condo molds the floor, walls, and roof together into a single unit. This creates a stronger structure while eliminating many of the weak points commonly found in traditional hunting blinds.
You've likely seen the plastic panel blinds at your local sporting goods store. This blind is NOTHING like those. Those blinds are thermo formed plastic and usually rather thin and light. The high quality virgin HDPE material use in the Sportsman's Condo blinds is roughly 4x as thick as those blinds!
The result is a quieter, more durable blind that can withstand years of weather exposure without requiring ongoing maintenance.
Constructed from UV-protected HDPE (high density polyethylene), the SC1 won't rust, rot, crack, or require repainting, ever. It's designed to provide decades of reliable hunting performance with virtually no upkeep.
Windows
Simple, Quiet, Effective. The SC1 features three oversized 27" x 7" rifle windows along with a 14" x 8" window in the door.
Unlike many hunting blind windows that slide or rattle, these windows fold completely out of the way when opened. They're silent to operate and create large shooting openings for both rifle and crossbow hunters.
The windows are mounted on the outside of the blind (they fold out and down) to maximize interior room and improve overall comfort.
An added benefit is that the windows can easily be reversed if you prefer them to open inward instead of outward.

Wha is the difference between the Ridgeline and the SC1?
The SC1 offers 74 inches of interior height, allowing most hunters to comfortably stand and stretch. The Ridgeline is the same 4'x4' dimentions but is slightly shorter at 62" interior height. For the $100 difference, the SC1 is a great option.
How many hunters fit comfortably in the SC1?
The SC1 is designed as a true one-person hunting blind. It provides excellent comfort for a solo hunter along with plenty of room for gear.
Is the SC1 suitable for rifle hunting?
Absolutely. The oversized side windows create excellent shooting lanes and provide full visibility around the blind.
Can I use the SC1 for crossbow hunting?
Yes. Many hunters use the SC1 successfully for both rifle and crossbow hunting. Be sure to check your crossbow dimensions from the top of the scope to the bottom where it will rest to ensure it fits in the window dimensions.
Does the SC1 come with a tower?
The SC1 includes the welded steel base system but does not include the 4" x 4" posts. This allows you to build the tower height that best fits your property.
Will the blind rot or require painting?
No. The polyethylene construction is completely maintenance free and will not rust, rot, or require repainting, ever. It does take rattle can paint very well.
