Orion Hunting - 5' x 5' Premium Modular Insulated Archery/Bow Hunting Blind

The Orion 55VT is a 5 ft x 5 ft insulated modular archery deer blind, built in Iron Mountain, Michigan, for one or two bow hunters. Seven tinted windows — five of them vertical — seven R11-insulated panels, and a tool-free build that takes five to ten minutes.

Bow range is close range. The blind that works for archery has to sit tight to the trail without looking like a shed dropped in the timber, and it still has to let you draw clean when a buck is at fifteen yards and looking your way.

The 55VT does both. Five vertical windows for full draw in a 5x5 footprint you can tuck into cover, with seven HuntShield360 panels carrying 2" of R11 foam — walls, floor and roof — so a cold morning doesn't send you home before prime time.

Why hunters choose the 55VT

• Full draw in a small blind. Five vertical tinted windows sized for a compound bow, plus two horizontal windows for glassing.
• Tight to the trail without shouting about it. A 5' 4" x 5' 4" exterior footprint sits close to bow range and stays in the cover.
• Sit from dark to dark in a light jacket. HuntShield360 panels, 2" of R11 foam in all seven panels — floor and roof included.
• Silent and scent-tight. SoundShield360 blackout carpet floor to ceiling, quiet poly window hinges, and ScentShield360 gaskets on every seam pulled tight by 1,400 lbs of Quick-Latch clamping pressure.
• One person moves it. 225 lbs total, wall panels 15–25 lbs, packs flat into a pickup.
• Nothing to rot, chew, or infest. Aluminum panels through and through. No wood, no organic composite anywhere in the blind.

Will the 55VT fit my tower?

Yes — the 55VT mounts to every Orion elevated stand: 5 ft, 10 ft and 15 ft, ladder or stair, plus the 12" ground leveling stand and the DIY platform kit. A 9/16" wrench bolts the floor panel to the tower platform; everything above that is tool-free. On a non-Orion tower, check that manufacturer's specs against the 5' 4" x 5' 4" exterior footprint and 225 lbs.

How long does assembly take?

Five to ten minutes for the blind, no tools — seven panels latched in sequence off the stack they ship in. Tower assembly runs 15 minutes to 2.5 hours depending on model and crew. No tractor, no skid steer, no forks.

Every Orion product carries a 10-year warranty against manufacturing defects and 5 years on functionality, registered at purchase. Engineered and built in Iron Mountain, Michigan.
